Abstract:
This X-ray generation device comprises: an X-ray generation tube including an electron gun and a target that generates X-rays upon receiving an electron beam emitted from the electron gun; a deflector that deflects the electron beam; a drive circuit that imparts an acceleration voltage between a cathode of the electron gun and the target; and an adjustment unit for adjusting the deflection of the electron beam by the deflector, in accordance with the acceleration voltage or an amount of change in the acceleration voltage, so as to reduce a change in the position at which the electron beam is incident on the target due to change in the acceleration voltage.
