Abstract:
A worm (40) according to an embodiment is a resin worm formed by injection molding. The worm is provided with a gear portion (40a) in which is formed a cavity (40c) having as the axis thereof the major axis (40d) of the worm, and an apex portion (40b) formed at one end of the gear portion in the major axis direction, and a plurality of recesses (40e), which are closer to the outer circumferential side of the gear portion than the cavity and which have a hole portion communicating with the cavity, are formed in the apex portion in the radial direction.
