Abstract:
Provided are a worm gear unit, a gear box comprising the worm gear unit, a gear motor, and an electrical appliance comprising the gear motor. The worm gear unit comprises: a disc-shaped bottom surface part; a first annular rib part that is centered on the center of the bottom surface part, and that extends along a first direction perpendicular to the bottom surface part; a second annular rib part that is centered on the center of the bottom surface part, and that extends along the first direction and is positioned closer to the center of the bottom surface part than the first rib part; and a columnar projecting part that is centered on the center of the bottom surface part, and that extends along the first direction and is positioned closer to the center of the bottom surface part than the second rib part. The width of the first rib part in the first direction is greater than the width of the second rib part in the first direction, and a lubrication oil storage mechanism is constituted by a portion surrounded by the first rib part and the second rib part.
