Abstract:
In the present invention, the discharge flow rate of a cooling pump is controlled so as to increase as the temperature of cooling oil, as detected by a temperature sensor, increases. When the operation mode of the dump truck is switched from a normal mode in which work is carried out in conjunction with operation of a brake device to a brake test mode in which the health of the brake device is assessed, the rotation frequency of the cooling pump with respect to the temperature of the cooling oil as detected by the temperature sensor is controlled so as to be higher in the brake test mode than in the normal mode, at least for a partial temperature range, and a determination is made regarding whether an abnormality has occurred in the brake device, on the basis of a detection result from a pressure sensor in the brake test mode. When it is determined that an abnormality has occurred, abnormality occurrence information is output. Thus, it is possible to reduce fuel consumption during normal operation, and to assess the health of a brake cooling circuit during a circuit inspection.
