This work scaffolding installation structure for installing work scaffolding inside of a boiler furnace comprises: a beam insertion opening provided in a furnace wall of the boiler furnace; a beam body 20 that extends linearly from a base side to a tip side, and that is configured to be inserted through the beam insertion opening from the tip side so as to be disposed below a water pipe nose section of the boiler furnace; and a suspension means that suspends the tip side of the beam body 20. The beam body 20 has primary beams 22, 24 that extend linearly from the base side to the tip side. The primary beams 22, 24 comprise: pairs of horizontal plate sections 22a, 22b, 24a, 24b having a flat plate shape and opposing each other while being separated from each other in the vertical direction; and pairs of plate-shaped vertical plate sections 22c, 24c that are stood upright while opposing each other between the pairs of horizontal plate sections 22a, 22b, 24a, 24b, so as to link the pairs of horizontal plate sections 22a, 22b, 24a, 24b.
