Abstract:
A control device for this work machine: identifies an operation start position for a distal end of an arm if a revolving operation has been performed, as well as an interference prevention position between the operation start position and a side part of a vessel; and, in a range from the operation start position to the interference prevention position, computes a lower limit value that is greater the closer to the interference prevention position and that reaches an interference prevention height at the interference prevention position. The control device controls the operation of a boom and a revolving body so that during operation of the revolving body, manipulation of the arm is disabled and also the height of the distal end of the arm will not fall below the lower limit value. The control device enables manipulation of the arm if the distal end of the arm has reached beyond the interference prevention position. The control device controls operation of the boom and/or the arm so that the height of the distal end of the arm, operating in accordance with manipulation of the arm, does not fall below the interference prevention position.
