Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to easily set, when ground leveling work is temporarily interrupted to change the height of a soil removal plate, the height of the soil removal plate to the original height at the time of interrupting the work. A work assistance system 1 for assisting the operation by an operator who operates a work machine 2 includes: a detector 11 that is held by a soil removal plate 9 of the work machine 2, acquires, with a sensor, posture information of the soil removal plate 9, and outputs the posture information; a controller 12 that is held by a body 5 of the work machine 2 and acquires and transmits the posture information of the soil removal plate 9; a portable information terminal device 3 that acquires the posture information transmitted from the controller 12, detects the height of the soil removal plate 9, and outputs assistance information; and a notification device 14 that notifies the operator of the assistance information. When the height of the soil removal plate 9 changes from the height of the soil removal plate 9 on a ground-leveling target surface, the portable information terminal device 3 notifies, via the notification device 14 and by means of the assistance information, that the height of the soil removal plate 9 is different from the height of the soil removal plate 9 on the ground-leveling target surface.
