Abstract:
Disclosed is a wood screw comprised of a wood screw main body and a truncated cone-shaped washer wherein the top of the head of the wood screw main body and the top of the washer can rotate substantially in the same plane, said washer being attached to the head so as not to be detached from the head. When a retainer element is secured by a wood screw to a wood to be supported, the frictional heat can be prevented from occurring in the retainer element, and the retainer element can be secured by only the fastening force of the wood screw. Thus, the retainer element can be efficiently prevented from being broken, and the retainer element can be attached so that the top of the head of the wood screw and the surface of the retainer element are in the same plane.
