Abstract:
A wireless power transmission system 1 comprises: a structure the entirety of which is surrounded by an electromagnetic wave shielding member 2 that has an appropriate conductivity; at least one power transmission unit 3; and at least one power receiving unit 4. A power receiving unit 4A, which is one example of the power receiving unit 4, is constituted by a power receiving device comprising a dielectric substrate 7, a rectifier circuit 8, and a power receiving antenna 9. The power receiving antenna 9 includes power receiving antenna wiring 9a and 9b which is disposed within the same plan on the dielectric substrate 7. One end of each of the power receiving antenna wiring 9a and 9b is connected to the rectifier circuit 8. Another end of each of the power receiving antenna wiring 9a and 9b which differs from the end connected to the rectifier circuit 8 is an open end. The planar shape of the dielectric substrate 7 is an axially symmetrical polygon having 2N sides (where N is an integer of 2 or more). The power receiving antenna wiring 9a and 9b are disposed along different and adjacent N sides of the dielectric substrate 7.
