Abstract:
A wireless power transmission device according to various embodiments of the present document may comprise a communication module, a power transmission circuit, and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to: output first power for detecting of an external wireless power reception device through the power transmission circuit before wireless power transmission; identify a first phase of a first voltage and/or a first current at the output of the first power; identify a second phase of a second voltage or a second current by the wireless power reception device through the power transmission circuit during the output of the first power; identify a difference between the first phase and the second phase; identify the wireless power reception device on the basis of the difference between the first phase and the second phase; and control the power transmission circuit to transmit second power for wireless power transmission to the identified wireless power reception device. Other embodiments may also be possible.
