Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of making a wheel bearing device further lightweight while increasing the rigidity of the wheel bearing device. This wheel bearing device (1) comprises: an outer ring (2) having a double row of outer raceways (23), (24); an inner member which is composed of a hub ring (3) having a small-diameter step (31) extending in the axial direction on the outer periphery of the hub ring, and an inner ring (4) press-fitted into the small-diameter step (31), and has a double row of inner raceways (33), (41) opposing the double row of outer raceways (23), (24); and a double row of ball lines (5), (6) rollably accommodated between both raceways of the outer ring (2) and the inner member, wherein the hub ring (3) has a caulked part (38) caulked to the inner ring (4) on the axial direction end of the hub ring, and the circularity A of an outer peripheral surface (38a) of the caulked part (38) is 0.4 or lower.
