Abstract:

Disclosed are: a welding rod fastening method which allows a welding rod to be vertically fixed with respect to a welding surface so as to reduce a spatter phenomenon in which metal micro-particles are scattered around a welded part due to an incorrect welding angle during welding; and a welding device having a welding rod vertically fastened thereto by the method. The welding rod fastening method is a method for fastening a welding rod to a welding rod fixation block having a welding rod accommodation hole formed therethrough, and includes the steps of: (a) inserting the welding rod into the welding rod accommodation hole of the welding rod fixation block; and (b) fastening fixation screws into both-side spaces of the welding rod accommodation hole with reference to the welding rod, respectively, to tighten the welding rod accommodation hole, wherein the fixation screws, which are fastened into the both-side spaces of the welding rod accommodation hole, respectively, are tightened in tightening directions opposite to each other.
