Abstract:
A diaphragm valve body (4) comprises, at the periphery of a thin film section (42), a fixed section (43) that is connected to the thin film section (42). A weir valve (1) comprises fixing sections (231, 36) that fix the diaphragm valve body (4) by clamping the fixed section (43) from both a contact direction and a separation direction, and is configured such that a surface of the fixing section (36) is provided with a diamond-like carbon coating (37), and wear of the diaphragm valve body (4) that is caused by friction between the fixing section (36) and the diaphragm valve body (4) is suppressed, said friction occurring in conjuction with contact/separation motions of the diaphragm body (4).
