Abstract:
Disclosed are a wearable device and a wearable device operation method. The wearable device, according to the embodiments, comprises: a thigh support frame for supporting a thigh of a user when the wearable device is worn on the body of the user; a control module for generating a control signal for controlling the wearable device; a drive module for, on the basis of the control signal, generating an external force applied to the body of the user; a thigh fastening part connected to the thigh support frame and being for fixing the thigh support frame to the thigh; and a thigh fastening detection module for detecting whether the thigh fastening part is fastened to the thigh. The thigh fastening detection module comprises: a sensor module for acquiring sensor data of which the value differs depending on whether the thigh fastening part is fastened to the thigh of the user; and a communication module for transmitting the acquired sensor data to the control module.
