Abstract:
The present invention provides, for a display device comprising a wavelength conversion substrate that has a partition wall, a technology which can inhibit color loss and deterioration in luminance resulting from generation of bubbles in a wavelength conversion layer. A wavelength conversion substrate 3 is provided with: a transparent substrate 31 which has a first main surface; a resin layer 34 which is disposed on the first main surface and which has a plurality of through hole groups each including a first through hole, a third through hole, and a second through hole disposed therebetween; inorganic coating layers 35 which each at least partly coat sidewalls of the first to the third through holes; and wavelength conversion layers 36R and 36G in at least part of the first to the third through holes. Each of a sidewall of the first through hole on the second through hole side, sidewalls of the second through hole on the first through hole side and on the third through hole side, and a sidewall of the third through hole on the second through hole side has a taper angle of 3-40 degrees. In the opening of each of the first to the third through holes on the transparent substrate 31 side, the a ratio W1/L1 between a dimension W1 in a direction in which the first to the third through holes are arranged and a dimension L1 in a direction perpendicular to the aforementioned direction is 0.01-0.95. The dimension L1 is 10-1000 μm.
