Abstract:
This wavelength conversion member is characterized by comprising: a fluorescent body that emits fluorescent light by means of excitation light, and has an incident surface in which the excitation light enters, and a back surface positioned on the opposite side from the incident surface; and a reflection film that is disposed on the back surface of the fluorescent body, and is formed of a metal layer and particles included in the metal layer. The wavelength conversion member is characterized in that: the melting point of the particles is higher than the melting point of the metal forming the metal layer; the reflection film has a first surface opposing the back surface of the fluorescent body, and a second surface positioned on the opposite side from the first surface; and the particles are included more in the second surface side than in the first surface side.
