Abstract:
Provided is a wave control medium capable of absorbing and controlling waves while miniaturizing a metamaterial or the like and also increasing the bandwidth thereof. The present disclosure provides a wave control medium provided with a three-dimensional microstructure including a base part, a metamaterial part, and a matching element arranged between the base part and the metamaterial part. The three-dimensional microstructure is formed of a material selected from metals, dielectrics, magnets, electroconductors, metal oxides, semiconductors, or superconductors, or a combination of a plurality thereof. The metamaterial part may have a helical structure, a multilayer structure, a conical structure, a wire structure, a ring structure, a mushroom structure, or a sphere structure.
