Abstract:
Provided are a water-soluble Pd(II) complex, a synthetic method therefor, and the use thereof as a catalytic precursor. The chemical name of the water-soluble Pd(II) complex is ammonium di(nitroso)oxalate palladate, and the molecular formula thereof is (NH4)2[Pd(NO2)2(C2O4)]·nH2O (n being the number of crystal water). The Pd(II) complex is synthesized by taking PdCl2 or an intermediate product [Pd(NH3)2Cl2] obtained by the wet refining of palladium as a starting material, first reacting same with ammonia water to convert same into [Pd(NH3)4]Cl2, then reacting same with an excess of NaNO2 to obtain trans-[Pd(NH3)2(NO2)2], and finally reacting same with oxalic acid to obtain a target product, i.e., (NH4)2[Pd(NO2)2(C2O4)]·2H2O. The complex contains no chlorine and other elements (such as K, Na, S and P) that are harmful to a catalyst, and has a high water solubility and a low thermal decomposition temperature. A supported palladium-based catalyst prepared by using the complex as a catalytic precursor has a very high catalytic activity, and the complex is a very good palladium catalytic precursor.
