Abstract:
The water-softening device (1) according to the present disclosure is provided with: a water-softening tank (4) in which raw water containing a hardness component is subjected to a water-softening treatment with a weakly acidic cation exchange resin (9) to produce acidic soft water; a neutralization tank (5) in which the pH of the acidic soft water produced by the passage through the water-softening tank (4) is neutralized with a weakly basic anion exchange resin (10) to produce neutralized soft water; a soft water detection unit (6) in which the electrical conductivity of the neutralized soft water produced by the passage through the neutralization tank (5) is detected; an acquisition unit (17) in which a first electrical conductivity corresponding to an ion other than the hardness component in the raw water is acquired; a correction unit (18) in which the electrical conductivity of the neutralized soft water is corrected on the basis of the first electrical conductivity acquired by the acquisition unit (17) to output a second electrical conductivity; and a calculation unit (19) in which hardness component information is calculated on the basis of the second electrical conductivity.
