Abstract:
A water softening device (1) according to the present disclosure comprises a water softening tank (3), a neutralizing tank (4), an electrolysis tank (12), a water supply pump (19), a current value detection unit (18), and a control unit (17) that controls a recycling process. During the recycling process, the control unit (17) continues the recycling process if a current value of the water supply pump (19) as detected by the current value detection unit (18) is at least a prescribed value and stops the recycling process to shift to a hardness component discharging process, which is for discharging a hardness component in the device to outside of the device, if the current value of the water supply pump (19) as detected by the current value detection unit (18) is less than the prescribed value.
