Abstract:
A water purifier according to one embodiment comprises: an input unit for receiving a user input; a raw water flow path through which raw water is introduced; a water purification flow path, which is connected to the raw water flow path and has a water output nozzle; a filter provided to the water purification flow path to filter the raw water; a drainage flow path branched from the water purification flow path between the filter and the water output nozzle so as to be connected to a drainage hole; a drainage valve opening/closing the drainage flow path; a filter water supply flow path including one end connected to the filter, and the other end connected to the drainage hole; a filter water supply valve opening/closing the filter water supply flow path; and a control unit for controlling the filter water supply valve to open the filter water supply flow path in response to the reception of a user input for filter exchange, and controlling the filter water supply valve and the drainage valve to perform a cleaning cycle on the filter and the water purification flow path after the filter exchange.
