Abstract:
Disclosed is a water level detection apparatus for a steam boiler, comprising: a detecting device (100) provided on an inner wall of a water box mounting part of the steam boiler for detecting whether there is water in one or more predetermined locations of the water box of the steam boiler and generating an indication signal indicative of whether there is water in each of the predetermined locations; and a control device (200) for determining the water level state of the water box of the steam boiler according to the indication signal. On the basis of the fact that none of the components of the water level detection apparatus is in direct contact with the water box, not only can a non-contact water measurement be realized, but damage to each component caused by being splashed with water or being impacted can also be prevented. A steam boiler comprising the water level detection apparatus and a water level detection method for the steam boiler are also disclosed.
