Abstract:
Provided is a water-dispersible resin particle from which a coating film having both excellent designability and adhesiveness can be obtained. This water-dispersible resin particle contains a constitutional unit derived from a monomer having at least one amide group, wherein the content of the constitutional unit derived from the monomer is 1-20 mass% with respect to all the constitutional units, and the hydroxyl value is at most 1 mg KOH/g. Preferably, the water-dispersible resin particle contains a constitutional unit derived from another monomer different from the monomer having at least one amide group, wherein the glass transition temperature of a homopolymer obtained by polymerizing the other monomer is at least 80ºC, and the content of the constitutional unit derived from the other monomer is at least 70 mass% with respect to all the constitutional units.
