Abstract:

A water-cooling scraping blade type liquid eddy flow retarder for automobile comprises a housing (1), a braking structure (2) and a main rotating shaft flange (3). The main rotating shaft flange (3) and the housing (1) are sealed with a rotatable oil-sealing arrangement (4), so a sealed annular chamber (5) is formed. The braking structure (2) comprises a rotor (21), and the braking structure (2) is connected with the main rotating shaft flange (3) by a bearing (6) and a clutch unit assemblage (7). Arc concave surfaces (14) are disposed on the inner wall of the housing (1), and each arc concave surface (14) individually has an oil-in hole (15) and an oil-out hole (16). An annular closed chamber (17), a water inlet (18) and a water outlet (19) connected with the annular closed chamber (17) are disposed in the housing (1). The water inlet (18) is provided with cooling water through a water pump or is directly provided with cooling water, and the water outlet (19) is connected to an external draining place. The main rotating shaft flange (3) has a connection end for a transmission shaft. The braking structure (2) is cooled with cooling water, and the retarder is prevented from operating in high temperature, consequently the working life of the retarder is prolonged.
