Abstract:
[Problem] To minimize countermeasures against odors by preventing a decrease in the heat quantity of a combustible gas obtained through the gasification of waste. [Solution] This waste treatment apparatus 1 comprises: a drying device 6 that dries waste (crushed material) W5; a gasifying furnace 8 that heats and gasifies dried matter, discharged from the drying device, by means of a preheated raw material R1 fractionated from a preheater cyclone (lowermost cyclone) 31 of a cement firing device 30; and a combustible gas supplying device that supplies a combustible gas G1 generated from the gasifying furnace to a calcination furnace 33 or a cement kiln 32 of the cement firing device. Residues S generated from the gasifying furnace may be introduced into the drying device and used for drying waste. The outlet temperature of the gasifying furnace may be controlled so that the outlet temperature of the drying device is equal to or higher than a predetermined value.
