A VR motion control method, a multi-dimensional motion platform and a universal joint thrust bearing (14). The VR motion control method comprises: setting parameters; calibrating a device; acquiring parameters; receiving a head-mounted display device tracking data packet and/or a motion control data packet; determining whether a real-time angle difference is greater than a set dead zone angle; calculating a difference between a current angle of a head-mounted display device and a current state of a multi-dimensional motion platform, and feeding the difference to a motion control system of the multi-dimensional motion platform to eliminate the difference. The multi-dimensional platform implements single-point load bearing or single-point suspension load bearing and lever traction drive, and accordingly achieves swinging and rotation functions in various directions. The universal joint thrust bearing (14) combines a common universal joint thrust bearing with a planar thrust bearing while adding a ball element or a roller element, accordingly achieving load bearing of a multi-dimensional motion platform under a large load condition.
