Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a video cropping method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The video cropping method comprises: receiving a first parameter value used for transforming a video picture of a target video; determining a cropping area; on the basis of a video picture which is transformed by means of the first parameter value, and the cropping area, determining a picture to be cropped, wherein the picture to be cropped covers the cropping area; and on the basis of the cropping area, cropping the picture to be cropped, so as to obtain a cropped video. In the embodiments of the present application, after the video picture of the target video is transformed on the basis of the first parameter value, the picture to be cropped is determined according to the cropping area and the transformed video picture, and it is ensured that the picture to be cropped covers the cropping area, such that the picture to be cropped is cropped by means of the cropping area, and the obtained cropped video does not have a letter box.
