Abstract:
A video chat system (1) of the present disclosure is for assisting communication in a chat group that includes: an occupant of a vehicle (10) in which an onboard computer has been installed; and a user that is not an occupant of the vehicle (10). The disclosed video chat system (1) comprises: a distribution means (3) for distributing video of vehicle surroundings captured by an imaging device (18) installed in the vehicle (10) to the chat group; and a control means for causing messages exchanged within the chat group and the video of vehicle surroundings to be displayed on chat screens of a terminal (10') within the vehicle (10) and a terminal (20) of the user.
