Abstract:
Disclosed is a vibration reduction device provided with an elastic body, a dynamic mass, and a control mass. The dynamic mass is supported by a subject of vibration control via the elastic body. The relevant actuator causes the control mass to move with respect to the dynamic mass. Such a vibration reduction device appropriately sets the control mass into motion with respect to the dynamic mass, with the result that the frequency and the amplitude at which the dynamic mass vibrates with respect to the subject of vibration control can be varied, leading to the vibration of the subject of vibration control being able to be reduced more reliably. Furthermore, such a vibration reduction device is capable of reducing a predetermined-frequency vibration of the subject of vibration control even when the control mass is fixed with respect to the dynamic mass.
