Title:
VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/222014
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This vibration damping device (10) is provided with: a tubular first attachment member (11) linked to one of a vibration generating unit and a vibration receiving unit, and a second attachment member (12) linked to the other of these; an elastic body (13) which links both attachment members (11, 12); and a partition member (16) which partitions a liquid chamber (19) inside of the first attachment member (11) into a main liquid chamber (14), with the elastic body (13) constituting part of the wall thereof, and an auxiliary liquid chamber (15). A restricted passageway (24) allowing communication between the main liquid chamber (14) and the auxiliary liquid chamber (15) is formed in the partition member (16), and in the partition member (16), a flow speed suppressing unit (32) is provided that suppresses the flow speed of the liquid (L) flowing through the restricted passageway (24). The flow speed suppressing unit (32) suppresses to less than or equal to 10 m/sec the peak flow speed of the liquid (L) flowing from the restricted passageway (24) into the main liquid chamber (14) when the liquid pressure in the main liquid chamber (14) is negative and the variability of the fluid pressure in a prescribed time period is less than or equal to 5%.
