Abstract:
The present invention is a vibration-damping device body (10) provided with a first mounting member (11) mounted via a bracket (2) onto one of either a vibration-generating section or a vibration-receiving section, a second mounting member (12) mounted onto the other of the vibration-generating section and the vibration-receiving section, and an elastic body (13) coupling the first mounting member (11) and the second mounting member (12),the first mounting member (11) being fitted to a fitting hole (2a) formed in the bracket (2), wherein: a first guide section (30) is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the first mounting member (11); a second guide section (2f) is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the fitting hole (2a); the first guide section (30) is fitted to the second guide section (2f); the first mounting member (11) is formed of a synthetic resin material; and a fitting (40) having a first engagement surface (42a) abutting against the second guide section (2f) is disposed on the first guide section (30).
