Abstract:
A compact vibration control equipment (21) for preventing vibration of a pipe (13) set in the water effectively. A tubular body (22) covering the underwater pipe (13) is suspended from a buoy (25). A plurality of regulating members (23, 24) are projecting radially from the body. The body can turn to follow up the direction variation of water flow through the buoy. Forward end of the regulating member does not reach a steady water flow region (31) being formed when the vibration control equipment receives a water flow but it is arranged in a stripping region (32, 36).
