Abstract:
When vibration having a predetermined frequency is inputted, a movable plate placed in a member that is partitioning between a main liquid chamber and a sublquid chamber vibrates to absorb the vibration having a predetermined frequency and prevents generation of a strange sound due to collision between the movable plate and the partitioning member. In a vibration control device (10), thin film-like shock absorbing film materials (110, 112) having rubber-like elasticity are respectively bonded to a region except an opening (88) in the lower surface side of a top plate section (78) of a partition metal (50) and to a region except an opening (92) in the upper surface side of a bottom plate section (90) of a partition member (48). When vibration is inputted from the engine or body side and the movable plate (94) vibrates in a containing chamber (80) to cause the movable plate (94) to come into contact (collide) with the top plate section (78) or the bottom plate section (90), impact force generated by the collision is absorbed by the shock absorbing film materials (110, 112) having rubber-like elasticity. Consequently, sound pressure of hitting sound generated by the collision of the movable plate (94) against the top plate section (78) or the bottom plate section (90) in synchronism with the input vibration can be effectively reduced.
