Abstract:
A vertical wall construction method and a construction robot. The method comprises: a construction module (130) constructing an indoor vertical wall surface (S1); detecting an obstacle in the direction of construction, and acquiring position and size information of the obstacle (S2); determining the type of the obstacle according to the position and size information of the obstacle, planning a construction path, avoiding the obstacle, and determining the position for re-construction (S3); a sensing module (110) detecting a construction coverage wall surface, and acquiring a construction effect (S4); and according to the construction effect, determining the ratio of overlapping area for two adjacent instances of construction (S5). According to the described method, an obstacle in the construction process of a vertical wall surface is detected, position and size information and the type of the obstacle are obtained, and the construction module (130) is guided to avoid the obstacle to continue construction, thus the efficiency of a construction robot is improved, and the problem that construction featuring obstacle avoidance cannot be performed is solved.
