Description:
VENTILATION OF TOILET CAVITY

The invention refers to a system of ventilation of the cavity of the toilet bowl, which can also be used for ventilation of spaces intended for individual toilets or bathrooms.

For the extraction of foul air from the inside of the bathrooms, a ventilation system mounted inside the water tank, including an odor drain from the toilet, an automatic flushing device and a steam and moisture ventilation device from the bath or toilet, which has an engine and a fan connected to the odor drain, is known from document US 2002194670 A1 . The system consists of a reversed U-shaped outlet, connected to the tank water outlet and a passing part arranged at the bottom of the tank, which continues to the outside of the tank and is fitted with a fan.

Another system for ventilating the toilet vessels, as described in document WO 2011153637A1 , mounted inside the water tank, consists of an adaptor made up of two open chambers at the bottom, which inter-communicate through a window, the lower part of the two chambers being situated below the water level in the tank.

From document RO 130981 B1 is known a ventilation system that uses an exhaust path of the water drainage circuit from the tank, in reverse direction using a fan located at the end of the exhaust path, a system formed in an output variant, from a sealed chamber with two pairs of holes, arranged on a vertical axis, through which some cylinders pass through which slides some pistons connected to each other, cylinders having windows of correspondence between them.

These ventilation systems imply a major change in the water drain assembly of the reservoir, unnecessary extraction of air and water reservoir, and penetration of the water flow into the ventilation circuit, or reverse air circulation when the fan is not operated. The technical problem that this invention solves is the efficient ventilation of the cavity of the toilet, toilet cubicle and bathrooms.

The ventilation system according to this invention solves the proposed problem, consisting of a ventilation device of the cavity of the toilet bowl, mounted either between the water tank and the water drain pipe, or inserted on the water drain pipe, the ventilation piping. The ventilation device consisting of a main body and a secondary body, a cylindrical protection of the air circuit movable shutter mounted inside the main body, a movable shutter that is arranged inside the main body and connected by a threaded rod and nuts of a stopper at the top of the float, the drainage of all water from the tank being prevented by a counterweight, the exhaust of the foul air from the toilet being carried out by means of some radial windows, made in the main body, in the upper part of the air circuit being arranged a T-sqare, with access cover for periodic sanitation of the foul air circuit, for mounting the fan in the tubing and better ventilation of its housing being used two end spacer rings and some windows made in the tubing in front of the fan, on the circuit air outlet, with a lane flap fitted that prevents the air from flowing in reverse when the fan is not operated.

In the following, an example of the invention's realization is also presented in relation to figures 1 to 9 representing:

Fig 1 - section through the ventilation device;

Fig 2 - main body and secondary body section;

Fig 3 - section and top view of the cylindrical protection;

Fig 3.1 - section and top view of the movable shutter;

Fig 4 - top view of main body and secondary body in two variants of achievement;

Fig 5 - stopper section;

Fig 6 - trigger flap view;

Fig 7 - float trigger drive assembly view;

Fig 8 - partial view air circuit;

Fig 9 - partial view of the exhaust air circuit, with fan and flap.

The ventilation system of the toilet vessel cavity according to this invention consists of a D ventilation device for the toilet vessel cavity, a vacuum exhaust piping 22 and a fan 23.

The ventilation device D is either mounted directly on the tank R, between the water tank and the water drain pipe, or it can be mounted and inserted on the water drain pipe by cutting it, thus not changing the drain assembly dimensionally.

The ventilation device D consists of a main body 1 of cylindrical shape concentrically installed on the inside of a secondary body 2 which may be round or square, as shown in fig. 4, or any other shape.

At the top of the main body 1, inside it is mounted a cylindrical protection 4, fixed, making common body with the main body 1. Protection 4 has an identical profile to a movable shutter 3 of the air circuit, which is arranged in the middle of the main body 1. Cylindrical protection 4 prevents the flow of water from the R tank pressing on the 3 movable shutter and moving it down, along with the entire water actuator, which would stop the water leakage circuit from the R water tank.

In the middle part of the main body 1 are made several radially located windows, for the passage of the foul air and its exit on the ventilation circuit. The radial windows a have a height lower than that of the movable shutter 3, the secondary body 2 being fixed in front of them to the outside,. It will allow to extract the foul air through all windows a, radially, so that the resultant of the radial depressive forces acting on the 3 slide is null and the movable shutter is mobile, functioning without friction with the walls of the main body 1.

The movable shutter 3 is connected by a threaded rod 6 at both ends passing through the center of protection 4 and a stopper 5, being fixed at both ends with nuts 27. The stopper 5 is located at the top end of float 9 and a counterweight 10 is mounted on the lever of the actuator water drain system flap 7, consisting of the flap arm 8 and the support 11 .

The weight of the movable system which is attached to float 9 prevents the draining of all the water from the R tank. This problem can be solved by either a dimensioned float 9 or by a counterweight 10 mounted on the lever of the water drain system flap 7, according to Fig.6, or by a pulley 14 simply anchored by a support 13 on the wall of pool 12 of the tank R, above which the pulley is fixed on one side of wire 16 a counterweight 17, corresponding to the weight of the whole supplementary system, and the other side is fixed on float 9, through the 18 support and the 19 end piece, according to Fig.7.

A T-square 20 is fitted at the top of the air circuit with a access cover 21 for periodic sanitation of the foul air circuit.

There are cooling ventilation windows 24 in line with fan the 23 and two end spacer rings 25 are used for better ventilation of the fan housing 23, while a reversing flap 26 is mounted on the exhaust circuit to prevent the air running in reverse when fan 23 is not operated.
