Abstract:
A ventilation component 1 has a ventilation passage 10 for passing air between an internal space 2u and an external space 2s of a housing 2. The ventilation passage 10 is for passing air between the internal space 2u and the external space 2s when the ventilation component 1 is mounted to a rim 2f. The ventilation component 1 is provided with a supporting part 12, a ventilation membrane 11, a protrusion 13, and a seal member 14. The supporting part 12 is configured to enclose the ventilation passage 10. The ventilation membrane 11 is fixed to the supporting part 12 so as to block the ventilation passage 10 in such a manner as to allow air to pass therethrough. The protrusion 13 is formed so as to protrude from the supporting part 12 and enclose one end of the ventilation passage 10, and is a tubular part that comes into contact with the rim 2f when the ventilation component 1 is mounted to the rim 2f. The ventilation component 1 satisfies the conditions: 2.5≤Gs/Gt≤5.0 and 1.0≤{(Gs-Gt)/2}/Lt≤3.0.
