Abstract:
A vehicular electrical braking device equipped with a control means CTL for driving an electric motor MTR and a lock mechanism LOK, the electric motor MTR pressing a friction member MSB against a rotary member KTB , and the lock mechanism LOK applying parking brake . The control means CTL comprises steps of: calculating an instruction pressure force Fbs on the basis of the amount of brake operation Bpa; calculating a parking pressure force Fbp on the basis of a parking signal Psw; determining as a target pressure force Fbt the greater one of the instruction pressure force Fbs and the parking pressure force Fbp; adjusting the amount of power Imt, Ima to be applied to the electrical motor MTR such that an actual pressure force Fba matches the target pressure force Fbt on the basis of the target pressure force Fbt and the actual pressure force Fba; and controlling the operation of the lock mechanism LOK on the basis of the actual pressure force Fba.
