Abstract:
A vehicle wheel drive device 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with a motor 20, a speed reducer 30 for reducing the speed of rotation of the motor 20, and a vehicle wheel 40 driven by the output rotation of the speed reducer 30. The motor 20 and the speed reducer 30 are arranged so as to overlap when viewed from a direction orthogonal to the axial direction. The motor 20 is arranged with a rear section 20b side thereof oriented toward the exterior of a vehicle body. A replaceable component 50 that can be removed from the motor 20 is mounted to the rear section 20b of the motor 20.
