The present invention provides a new lighting fixture. This vehicle lighting fixture system comprises: a vehicle lighting fixture that can form a high-beam light distribution pattern in which an irradiation state for a part of a plurality of irradiation areas obtained by dividing an area in front of an own vehicle in a vehicle width direction is switched; and a control unit that can control the vehicle lighting fixture such that the irradiation state for the part of the irradiation areas is suppressed on the basis of position information correlated with the position of a preceding vehicle. The control unit calculates a predicted position to which a preceding vehicle is predicted to move after the lapse of a fixed time after a reference time, on the basis of position information newly acquired at the reference time, a position change amount of the preceding vehicle calculated from a plurality of sets of position information acquired in a predetermined period before the reference time, and information on a travel path on which the preceding vehicle travels.
