Abstract:

Disclosed is a vehicle drive device (1) that includes a shift detent mechanism (90), an actuator (74) for generating driving force for operating the detent mechanism, a sensor (135) for generating sensor information representing an operation amount of the shift detent mechanism, a control unit (153) for controlling the actuator, and a clutch (30) that operates in conjunction with the operation of the detent mechanism, wherein the control member, when the clutch state is changing, carries out feedback control on the actuator on the basis of a relationship between the sensor information and a target value pertaining to the operation amount of the detent mechanism, and ends the feedback control and stops the operation of the actuator before completion of the change in the clutch state.
