Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle antenna device which is easy to manufacture, with can be made broadband, and with which the antenna transmission/reception characteristics can be easily adjusted. The vehicle antenna device comprises: a plate-shaped element 10; and a ground substrate 20. The plate-shaped element 10 includes a power feeding part 11 and a distal end part 12, and also includes an opened section 14 that extends with a prescribed line width from the power feeding part 11 to the distal end 12 so that a blank section 13 is provided at the center in top view, and that extends from the blank section 13 between the feeding part 11 and the distal end part 12. The plate-shaped element is capable of transmitting/receiving signals of a prescribed frequency band. The ground substrate 20 includes a ground part 21 which serves as a ground of the plate-shaped element 10, and a power feeding point 22 to which the power feeding part 11 of the plate-shaped element 10 is connected. The ground substrate is disposed at a position at which a majority of the ground part 21 does not overlap with the plate-shaped element 10 in top view and the ground substrate does not protrude out from the range of the blank section 13 and the opened section 14.
