Abstract:
Disclosed is a variable-stiffness and high-damping automatic tensioner, comprising a tensioning arm (60), a housing (10), a first damping device (50), a second damping device (40), a torsion spring (30), a tensioning pulley (100), a mandrel (80), a rolling bearing (90) and a wear-resistant plastic bushing (20), wherein the housing (10) is fixed to an engine body; the mandrel (80) is fixed to the housing (10); the tensioning arm (60) is pivotably mounted on the mandrel (80) by means of the wear-resistant plastic bushing (20); the belt pulley is mounted to an end, far away from the mandrel (80), of the tensioning arm (60) by means of the rolling bearing (90); a housing accommodation cavity is provided inside the housing (10); the torsion spring (30) is arranged inside the housing accommodation cavity, and the other end of the torsion spring abuts against a tensioning arm spring seat of the tensioning arm (60); the first damping device (50) and the second damping device (40) are oppositely arranged on an upper portion of the housing accommodation cavity; and one end of the first damping device (50) abuts against the tensioning arm (60), and the other end thereof abuts against a torsion arm of the torsion spring (30). The variable-stiffness and high-damping automatic tensioner can provide higher friction damping; and when the tension of a belt fluctuates greatly, a larger torque is provided by changing the stiffness, thereby preventing slipping and the generation of noise.
