Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a valve unit that can be downsized.
[Solution] A valve unit (1) is provided with: a valve case (4) having a valve case body part (4A) in which a thermo valve (2) is accommodated and a valve seat (4Aa) where a valve body (2b) is separated and seated is formed and a sleeve (4B) formed projecting outward from the valve case body part (4A); an auxiliary flow path (R2) formed by a cooling water accommodation chamber (S) formed inside the sleeve (4B), a lead-out path (4Ae) that establishes communication between an upstream side of the valve seat (4Aa) inside the valve case body part (4A) and the cooling water accommodation chamber (S), and an introduction path (4Af) that establishes communication between a downstream side of the valve seat (4Aa) inside the valve case body part (4A) and the cooling water accommodation chamber (S); and a sub-valve (3) that is attached to the sleeve (4B) and opens/closes an auxiliary flow path (R3).
