Abstract:
A blood pressure meter device (100) is equipped with a piezoelectric pump (10), a valve (101), and a cuff (109). The valve (101) is equipped with a first valve housing (191), a diaphragm (120), and a second valve housing (192). The diaphragm (120) is secured to the second valve housing (192) and the first valve housing (191) so that the diaphragm (120) is separated from a valve seat (139) and the periphery of an opening section (121) in the diaphragm (120) is in contact with and applies pressure to the valve seat (138). Because of this configuration, the diaphragm (120), along with the second valve housing (192) and the first valve housing (191), constitutes a lower valve chamber (131) that is in communication with a first air hole (111), an upper valve chamber (133) that is in communication with a second air hole (112), a lower valve chamber (132) that is in communication with a first air hole (110), and an upper valve chamber (134) that is in communication with the upper valve chamber (133).
