Abstract:
A device 10 according to the present invention rotates a stem bush 12 that is screwed to a stem 11 by operation of a motor 13 by application of alternating current, and diagnoses valve driving of a valve drive device 15 that moves a valve element 14 in an axial direction of the stem 11, along with the stem 11. The device 10 includes a current detecting means 26 for continuously or intermittently measuring current values given to the motor 13, and a computing means 27 for deriving a gap time from starting operation of the motor 13 until the valve element 14 and the stem 11 begin to move, on the basis of increase or decrease as to a temporal axis of an average value of absolute values, or an average value of values corresponding to the absolute value, of the current value that the current detecting means 26 measure within a predetermined duration of time.
