Abstract:
Provided is a valve device that makes it difficult for a float valve to rise and makes it easy to lower the pressure in a fuel tank. This valve device 10 comprises: a housing 15 provided with a valve chamber V and a ventilation chamber R with a partition wall 23 therebetween; a float valve 45 that opens and closes a ventilation hole 25; and a valve body 80 disposed so as to rise and lower in the ventilation chamber R. The housing 15 is provided with, above the partition wall 23, a fuel vapor discharge port 70 communicating with the inside of the ventilation chamber R, and a fuel vapor discharge pipe 75 communicating with the fuel vapor discharge port 70. The valve body 80 is configured so as to be pushed up when the flow rate per unit time of a fluid passing through the ventilation hole 25 and flowing into the ventilation chamber R exceeds a prescribed value, thereby partially blocking the fuel vapor outlet 70.
