Abstract:
Provided is a valve device with strength that is superior to conventional mesh structures and with excellent practicability such as being easily implementable using a metal additive layer fabrication method. The valve device is provided with: a valve mechanism provided in the middle of a flow channel 1 and configured from a valve seat 2 and a valve body 4 that freely opens and closes a flow hole 3 provided in said valve seat 2; and a pressure-reducing mechanism for reducing the pressure of a fluid passing through a flow gap between the valve body 4 and the valve seat 2 when the valve body 4 is opened to open the flow hole 3 and open the flow channel 1. The pressure-reducing mechanism is configured by providing mesh flow-through sections 10 in a tube 5 provided so as to surround a flow space between the valve body 4 and the valve seat 2 that occurs when the flow channel 1 is opened. The mesh flow-through sections are obtained by overlapping multiple meshes 9, which are integrally molded by additive layer fabrication and obtained by polymerizing in lattice form an inner crosspiece array 7 and an outer crosspiece array 8 that are formed by arranging multiple metal crosspieces 6 in parallel, in the fluid flow direction.
