Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a valve device that enables the effective use of a C-shaped detent member formed of a linear spring material. [Solution] A valve device (10) includes: a valve housing (35); a valve body (38) to be displaced along a straight path between a first and a second positions; and a C-shaped detent member (56). The center (56a) of the detent member (56) is located at the midpoint position between the two positions of connections (connection holes 60a) between the detent member (56) and the valve body (38) in the direction of the straight path when the valve body (38) is displaced between the first and the second positions. When the valve body (38) is displaced between the first and the second positions, the detent member (56) is pivoted on the center (56a) and experiences the maximum deformation at the midpoint position between the first and the second positions, making the detent member to tend to take the first position or the second position beyond the midpoint position. Spring parts (56b, 56c) extending from both ends of the center (56a) of the detent member (56) each have at least one loop portion (56d) that extends while being curved 360 degrees.
