Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a valve actuator which has a simple structure, is capable of easily achieving a reduction in size, has reliable valve opening/closing properties even at high pressures, and is capable of exhibiting high durability even if the valve opening/closing frequency is high; and a diaphragm valve provided with said valve actuator. This valve actuator is provided with: an elastic member provided inside an actuator main body; a piston which is impelled by the elastic member; and at least two air chambers for moving the piston using air pressure. A booster mechanism for exerting amplified force in the valve closing direction is accommodated in any of the air chambers.
