Abstract:
A vacuum valve (1) equipped with: an opened-pressure setting means (6) that sets a set value for the fluid pressure in a primary-side passage when a connection is opened; and a forcible opening means (7) that forcibly opens the connection regardless of the fluid pressure in the primary-side passage. The opened-pressure setting means (6) has: a spring bearing (17) affixed to a stem (5); a compression coil spring (18), the lower end of which is supported by the spring bearing (17); and an adjustment spring (19) capable of moving in the axial direction and pressing the upper end of the compression coil spring (18). The forcible opening means (7) has a piston (21) fitted onto the stem (5) below the spring bearing (17) so as to be capable of moving up/down, and a piston driving means (22) that uses compressed air to move the piston (21) upward and that integrally moves the piston (21) and the spring bearing (17) upward.
